Nix is an owner surrender looking for a new home.
Hi! My name is Nix! I am a handsome 7-8 year old fawn boy that is an owner surrender due to not getting along with the male dog in the home and I am marking my territory in the home. I am described as friendly, smart, calm, affectionate, and quiet! I currently live with a female pug and cats and get along with them but not the male dog. I am said to be curious and love tiny animals! I currently live with four kids (ages 10-17 years) and do well with them. If younger children are playing loudly or rough with each other, I will push my way in and settle them down. Because of this it can be startling to smaller children so I may do best in a home with older kids. I am stingy with my toys and don't like others playing with them so I play with toys when I can be alone with them. I used to not like people in my face but have since calmed down and seem to have grown out of that. I am house trained, crate trained, and at night I usually sleep in the living room on my bed but have recently been sleeping in the sun room. If the humans must be away, I am fine being left alone. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I do not like loud noises, rambunctious playing from children, or play-fighting. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, ear rubs, beggin strips, and getting alot of attention!
