Izzie II is an owner surrender looking for a new home.
Hi! My name is Izzie II ! I am a beautiful 8 year old brindle girl that is an owner surrender due to one of my owners passing away and life circumstances and substantially downsizing are making my other owner have to find me my forever family. I am described as friendly, smart, calm, playful, affectionate, quiet, and obedient! I currently live with my littermate and 3 dachshunds and we get along fine. I have previously lived with 10 cats and do fine with them as well. I will bark and chase cats or dogs that do not belong on my property but am respectful of other animals if I visit their property. I currently live with two kids (ages 5 and 10 years) and do fine with them. I am house trained, crate trained, know basic commands, and at night I sleep on a dog bed. If the humans must be away, I am fine being left alone. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. My owner currently uses kiddie gates instead of crating and I do not jump them. I am scared of fireworks and want to be near the humans, but some of my favorite things are riding in the car, red lasers or anything I can chase, and playing fetch! My littermate and I work as a team and actually bring the toy back to the humans together!
