This is Data, he was born February 2019, so in a few months he will be 7 y/o.
Data is a big, beautiful boy! But his handsomeness comes at a price, both literal and behavioral.
Over the years, his mental and physical health has been getting worse. He has anxiety and twitches profusely and spasms when he's in a rough patch.
In 2022, he was sent to the emergency vet to undergo surgery for urinary blockage to have crystals removed. Since then, Data has been on medicated food (Royal Canin - Urinary SO Dry Food, $117.⁹⁹ for their biggest bag which lasts roughly 6 weeks).
Lately, however, he started peeing on towels. We're unsure if it's due to his anxiety or maybe the blockage is reoccurring. Unfortunately, if he is suffering from health problems, we are unable to pay his bill again.
Data isn't getting attention as much anymore, and would do well as an only pet in a calm environment. He deserves a better fit.
