From her foster "Meet Davina —A Timeless Beauty Looking for Her Way Back Home!
Davina is a stunning black domestic long-haired lady with a gentle soul and a story that tugs at the heart. She was discovered in a Mooresville residential neighborhood, being chased away by other cats as she searched for food and safety. With nowhere else to go, this sweet girl took refuge in a storm drain—clearly not where she belonged.
From the moment she was noticed, it was obvious Davina wasn’t a feral or outdoor cat. She was affectionate, loving, and wanted nothing more than to come inside and be with people. A visit to our veterinarian revealed that Davina was already spayed and microchipped, confirming she once had a home. Sadly, despite efforts, attempts to reach her registered owner were unsuccessful.
According to the microchip company, Davina is approximately 10 years old—though you’d never guess it. She doesn’t look or act her age and still has that quiet elegance and warmth that only a well-loved house cat possesses.
Davina is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She is accustomed to the comfort and security of a home, not the harsh reality of outdoor life or hiding in storm drains to survive. What she needs now is a calm, loving environment where she can finally feel safe again and enjoy the life she remembers.
If you’re looking for a devoted, affectionate companion with a gentle heart and a graceful presence, Davina is ready to come home—this time, forever."
