This shy beauty showed up as a stray at the beginning of winter, and is enjoying the benefits of feeling warm and safe before getting to work on her social skills. Eloise is slow to trust, but she is becoming more at ease every day. She has made feline friends at the shelter, so she would be a good addition to a home with other cats. With patience and kindness, it won`t be long before she craves the benefits of human friendship as well!

HSKL has been aiding pets for 30 years in the City of Kawartha Lakes. We have a small staff and rely on our amazing volunteers to help run the shelter. Our Board of Directors is also volunteer based.
