My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meow! I’m Tony and I am so thankful to be at the shelter where I am safe and I can look for a new home. I had a home that I loved and I had a great life with my owner. Unfortunately, my owner passed away. When her family arrived they cleaned out the house, put me outside, and drove away. Thank goodness a kind neighbor was made aware of the situation and she rescued me. Now I am at the shelter looking for a new home. I am almost a year old. I have all of my vaccinations, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. One thing you might need to know before adopting me. I like being the only cat. Yep, that’s right! I want to give you all of my attention and I want all of your attention.

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
