My personality

Why I need a new home

Fostered

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stark came to us as a foster. He was fearful and highly anxious. His fears were the outdoors and all the sounds that came with it. The vet prescribed Prozac but this made him sick.

Without medication, we have used a lot of love and patience to desensitize him. He is now able to go outside early mornings and evenings. Many times during the day, however he prefers inside. He uses a dog door effectively. He obeys sit, lay down, go to your room, enough, and shake.

I own a dog boarding facility from my home. Some dogs he does not get along with. However, he gets along with many others just fine. I cannot vouch for children.

He is not a fan of walks due to residual fears. He does like running outside and playing with my terrier. We also have two dachshunds.

He will accept his family and other dogs in the family. He will not accept an aggressive dog. He will defend himself. He has accepted our cat.

He needs a loving and positive forever home with experienced owners.
