Meet Penny: The Perfect, Petite Mama Ready for Her Forever Home!

Penny is a tiny hero with a big heart! This incredible little dog faced an awful situation in the County Kill Shelter, where she bravely protected her newborn pups. She did lose a few babies, and this happens in most shelters. Now that her babies are grown and healthy thanks to her amazing foster family, it's this resilient little mama's turn to find the family she deserves.

You won't be able to resist her! Penny wiggles and wags her entire petite body just to say hello and is, quite simply, the best hugger on the planet. She's a social butterfly whose best friend is an enormous Great Dane, proving she's great with dogs of all sizes. But her exceptional qualities don't stop there: she's also great with cats and kids, is completely housebroken, and is crate trained.

Penny is fully grown and will stay her perfect, little size—30 pounds! There is truly nothing more perfect than sweet Penny. Come meet her and let her wiggle her way into your heart!
Penny is slight heartworm positive and being treated by the rescue. We will continue treatment after adoption with our vet until she has test neg! Since she is slight positive we are doing the slow kill as we feel it's safer and easier on the dogs.

Adoption fee is $250. All our dogs are fixed, current on vaccinations, flea and heartworm prevention, and microchipped.

More about this rescue

About
Animal Advocates is a ffoster based rescue whose purpose is to secure animals from local high kill shelters, euthanasia lists, as well as intervening when an individual is no longer able to care for animals in their possession.

Mission
To save those we can, when we can, as often as we can...one paw, one hand, one voice.

Company Overview
We have no "kenneled" facility that houses our animals. We have dedicated fosters who incorporate these animals into their families. This dynamic allows us to fully evaluate the animals in a variety if settings to ready them for their forever homes.

Description
We educate the public regarding the importance of spay, neuter programs and provide low cost alternatives to basic veterinary care. Behavioral and nutritional information is also addressed...we always encourage to adopt..not shop. When possible we assist families by providing information that with effort will allow them to keep these gentle souls and retain their pets.

We have foster homes in Seminole, Orange, Volusia, Brevard, Lake and Osceola counties.

General Information
All of the animals available for adoption have been spayed/neutered and micro chipped, all have current vaccines including rabies (if old enough). They are maintained on both flea had heart worm preventative. Any medical as well as behavioral issues have been addressed and are fully disclosed before the time of adoption.
