My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Scooby! How can you resist that adorably derpy face? Scooby is a big, goofy, and sweet boy -- about 2 years old and 75 pounds of pure love! We think he's a shepherd mix, though that's just our best guess This young pup still has plenty of puppy energy, but he's also a great listener and eager to please. Scooby would thrive in a home with a yard to run and play in, regular walks, and a human who doesn't mind an XL cuddle buddy at the end of the day. Because Scooby is still working on his manners (especially with jumping), he'd do best in a home without small children. With consistency, exercise, and love, this boy is sure to make someone an incredible companion! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet.November 26, 2025, 11:46 am

More about this rescue

Our goal is to save dogs at the local shelters in the Dallas \ Fort Worth Metroplex from euthanasia and adopt them to the public. We spay / neuter these dogs as well as provide all necessary medical care. We also educate the public about responsible pet ownership. We love dogs and our goal is to reduce / eliminate euthanisias being done in this area by shelters due to overcrowding.
