My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Odin, a handsome, deeply devoted lap cat whose epic name matches his big, loving heart. He bonds closely with one special person and happily spends much of the day in their lap, soaking up pets and quiet company. Odin thrives in a calm, predictable home without a lot of noise or commotion, making him a perfect match for someone wanting a gentle, low-energy companion.

We adopted Odin five years ago in Chicago and are heartbroken to re-home him only because of an upcoming cross-country move that would be too stressful and medically risky for him. Our veterinarian has advised against heavy sedation for several days of travel, so we are seeking a peaceful forever home instead.

Odin is friendly with our other cat, does well with respectful dogs, and would prefer a home without young children or with kids who understand how to move slowly and gently around him. He would be an incredible best friend for a quiet, patient adopter.
