My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wendy is the cutest, sweetest little lady you'll ever meet. With her gentle charm and soft, demure personality, she quickly captures the hearts of everyone she meets. She arrived at Save alongside her brother, Loudon, and the two share a close and loving bond.

Wendy enjoys spending time with Loudon-snuggling, playing, or simply keeping each other company-but she's also an independent, graceful gal who would be perfectly content finding her forever home on her own.

If you're looking for a lovely, tenderhearted companion with a calm and endearing spirit, Wendy Worthington is ready to bring warmth and sweetness into your life.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.savehomelessanimals.org. SAVE is operating by appointment-only for approved adopters.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
