My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

I am looking for a home with a patient person.

I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.

A volunteer writes: I'm so glad I met Bellissima. I almost walked right by her as she was giving every indication that that's what she'd prefer. She was hunched at the back of her perch and I was prepared to leave some treats and be on my way, but then a sudden, albeit tentative, openness in Bellissima's face belied the way she'd tucked herself in the corner. I extended my hand and Bellissima softly tucked her head into it and twirled herself into my arms. Purring for pets and even gently closing her eyes, Bellissima's been waiting for things to get better for quite some time. She was brought to us due to changes in her previous guardian's situation and we know that she's a girl who likes to do things on her own terms. Bellissima's independent and will let people know when she wants to take a break, but she hopes you'll give her a chance.
