My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

From Hazel's foster family: "We are honored to have been able to spend the last 10 days fostering Hazel. She responds well to her name. She has been going potty outside and ringing a bell with minimal accidents. She does fairly well on a leash with some pulling. She has gotten braver with outdoors and decided she really likes it. She enjoys relaxing on a porch or running around outside. Hazel also has very high energy and could use a safe place to run. She responds to the words sit, down, no, potty, toy, and outside. She loves to grumble when playing this is not a growl. She does not bark often. She puts her nose against everything including humans. She does jump very high and was learning the down command. Holding things high makes her want to jump out of curiosity, so it is best to hold things around waist level so she can see what is going on. She sleeps through the night and wakes between 7/8am. Her feeds were twice a day Purina pro plan puppy food. She had organic treats as rewards and a chew stick. She also had a lick pad for crate training. She LOVES toys and will keep one with her. She crates well for sleeping and while doing chores." The foster family mentioned that Hazel does have some anxiety when left alone at home.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The whole process is easy and takes a matter of in-office minutes. While we like for our animals to find homes, we require adopting families to meet in our shelter. That way you can meet your new family member and make sure he/she is the one for you. Then we do the paperwork which takes only a little time. We look forward to meeting you.
