Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Miss Opal, a gorgeous tortie with a spunky personality and a heart full of love. She is 6–7 years old and has overcome a rough start to life. Opal came to us from a hoarding situation with a severe case of stomatitis that made eating painful and caused her to lose too much weight. After having all her teeth removed and receiving proper treatment, the infection has cleared and she now enjoys her meals with enthusiasm. She eats soft food and smaller kibble with no trouble at all.
Opal is a purr machine who adores her humans, though she tends to grumble at other animals. It’s all noise, no action, but she would do best in a home with one or two respectful cats who will give her the space she prefers. She has a slightly cloudy eye, but it doesn’t slow her down at all—she sees well enough to chase springs, bat at scratcher balls, and explore her surroundings with confidence. Miss Opal is ready for a peaceful, loving home where she can finally enjoy the comfort and affection she deserves.
