My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I`m Minka, and I may be a senior, but I`ve got so much love and life left to give! I`ve been in foster care and really coming out of my shell, turns out I`m quite the catch! I`m fully potty trained and crate trained, sleep peacefully through the night, and I`m a total pro in the car. Just open the door and I`ll hop right in to watch the world go by!

I get along great with dogs of all sizes and don`t mind cats either with proper introductions. I`m happy having calm furry friends around or being your only companion. I do prefer to enjoy my meals and favorite snacks privately, and I do best when I have my own designated space (like my crate or a cozy corner) to eat and chew. I just enjoy having my own boundaries respected!

I`m a little shy at first but once I feel comfortable, you`ll see my true goofy and loving personality shine through! My big ears help me stay aware of everything around us. If you`re ready for a loyal companion, I`m ready to be yours! Email acsoutreach@bernco.gov to meet me today!
