She's crate trained and has done wonderfully settling in overnight or relaxing in her crate when her foster was away. Shadow is also very respectful of her blankets and has excellent house manners, never chewing on things she shouldn't like furniture and shoes. Plush toys, however, don't stand a chance! Tug-of-war is one of her favorite games and she plays with a soft, gentle mouth.
Shadow is highly treat motivated and happily accepts any reward you offer, making her a great candidate for continued training. She's made good progress with potty training, with only a few accidents at her foster home and would greatly benefit from a consistent routine to help her shine even more!
This affectionate girl absolutely adores people and greets everyone with enthusiastic tail wags and plenty of kisses. She loves going on walks, especially when she's allowed to take her time sniffing out new adventures. We believe she would likely due well in a home with frequent visitors and kids.
Due to Shadow's history of neglect, Shadow can be a bit protective of her food and toys around other dogs. However, she's done well with canine companions, particularly older and more submissive dogs with proper introductions and supervision. Shadows favorite place is to be by her people's side, following them from room to room and soaking up all the snuggles and affection she can get.
