Meet Dove 🤍🕊️

A gentle soul hoping for a Christmas miracle.
Dove is a 2.5-year-old, 16-lb chihuahua/min pin mix with a soft grey coat and the sweetest, most tender heart. After losing her home due to eviction, she’s remained incredibly loving, trusting, and eager to bond with her people—still believing in love, even after losing everything familiar.

She’s house trained, pee-pad trained, and crate trained (though she’d much rather be snuggled beside her person or another dog). Dove is dog-friendly, people-loving, quiet, and wonderfully well-mannered. She plays for a few minutes, then returns to your lap for comfort, gently whining when she wants to be picked up—her favorite place is right next to you.

Smart and treat-motivated, Dove learns quickly and would be a perfect apartment dog, senior companion, or even a future therapy dog. This holiday season, she’s wishing for just one thing: a warm home, a soft lap, and someone to love her forever.

Once your application is approved you will be contacted by the rescue and discuss the dog you are interested in and transportation.

Pay Fee

Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, health certificate and transportation.

All information regarding our dogs and transportation will be discussed prior to adoption.

Puppies under 6 months: $350
Dogs over 6 months: $300
(Special adoption fee applies to some dogs and puppies)

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
