My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet General Gravy, the silver marble tabby recruit reporting for duty—though he’s far more “soft and sweet” than “tough and stormy.” This little soldier starts off a bit shy, but once he’s settled in, his charm pours out warm and comforting, just like his namesake.

General Gravy isn’t charging into battle; he’s quietly assessing the scene, easing in, and winning hearts with gentle purrs and soft, steady affection. His beautiful marbled coat looks like it was painted with purpose, and his tender personality completes the package.

If you’re looking for a kitten who’s mild-mannered, adorable, and ready to bring peace and comfort to your home, General Gravy is standing by. Give him time to warm up, and he’ll happily become your loyal little lieutenant of love.

Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
