My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shoot for the moon, and you’ll land upon the stars! This is Luna! Take a chance on her, and you’ll experience a whole sky full of possibilities. Luna was found by the owner of a local cookie shop right before the Thanksgiving holiday. With no chip and no collar, she was deemed officially lost without a home. While she’ll be enjoying her turkey in foster care this year, we want to find her something a little more permanent!

Luna is energetic, friendly, and eager to please. She is a “beta” dog as described by her foster, always bowing and showing her belly. This pup loves to play and she seems to love children, too. She is a smart young dog who has already gotten comfortable with leashed walks and potty-training. Luna also sleeps in her crate without a peep, though of course her favorite place to be is by your side! A people dog, Luna is unbelievably loyal, though she doesn’t mind other dogs or cats in her home. She would make the perfect family companion for anyone ready to love.

Don’t wait for the sun to set on your chance to adopt this shining girl! Meet Luna today!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
