Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This bouncy beaut is Princess! She`s 8 years old, but nobody told her that - she`s a bundle of energy who loves playing with squeaky toys, hanging out with dog friends, and jumping up to give kisses. Princess is still working on her manners, and is looking for a patient adopter who`s prepared to manage the environment to help support her needs. She has big feelings when she sees other animals, and her new owner should be ready to help her disengage from tempting squirrels and exciting dogs when out on walks. She wants to explore the whole house, but is still learning to keep all four paws on the ground - luckily she`s more than open to other outlets for her energy, including sniffy walks, playtime, and long-lasting chews. She understands the value of a nice comfy bed, and will make herself at home for solo naptime once her needs have been met. Princess could live with a well-matched dog friend, given a proper intro (which we`re happy to help with!) and appropriate management in the home. She has a history of living with cats in a foster home, but was very interested in their stuff, and would benefit from her own separate space.

More about this shelter
Northeast Animal Shelter, established in 1976, is now part of the MSPCA-Angell, giving us a better opportunity to serve our community, provide additional life-saving programs and services, and protect more animals from cruelty and neglect.
Our adoption program is designed to be welcoming, nonjudgmental, and free of lengthy applications. We strive to engage all prospective adopters in a conversation aimed at matching an adopter’s lifestyle, interests and home environment with an animal’s personality, medical and behavioral needs. Adopting an animal is an extraordinary opportunity to choose your newest family member. At the MSPCA it is a great privilege for our staff and volunteers to guide that journey for adopters and animals.
