Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The Macon County Animal Control & Care Center is full of fun-loving pets searching for a wonderful family to give them a place they can call home. The shelter hours are from 12-5 Monday through Friday and 12-4 on Saturdays. You do NOT need to schedule an appointment to visit with the animals. You are welcome to just stop on by! All animals that are adopted from this facility leave the shelter spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and current on vaccinations. Dogs have been tested for heartworms and cats have been tested for Feline Leukemia. Come by the animal shelter today to meet the 100+ cats and the 50+ dogs available for adoption!
*Please Note* If you are seeing this pet on Petfinder.com, please know that due to a technical issue with this website, it is possible this pet has already been adopted. Please either call the shelter at 217-425-4508 or go to Petharbor.com (this website updates directly with the shelter`s software and is therefore more accurate) to verify that the pet you may be interested in is still available for adoption.
