Meet Mayo, a 3-year-old male Australian Shepherd who is full of energy, playful, and incredibly smart. Mayo has been with his owner for three years after being adopted from a friend. Due to housing changes, he is now looking for a home that can provide him with space, attention, and mental stimulation.

Age: 3 years
Color: Black and brown
Gender: Male (not neutered)
Vaccines: Not current
Potty Trained: No
Crate Trained: No
Living Situation: Primarily outdoors (4+ hours at a time)
Other Pets: Has lived with dogs
Children: Friendly
Visitors: Welcoming and social
Handling/Sharing: Allows people to take food and toys
Escape Risk: Occasional fence jumping, will need secure yard
Personality: Energetic, intelligent, playful, and eager to learn
Owner’s current housing situation cannot accommodate Mayo’s needs.
Mayo is a smart, active, and loving dog who will thrive with a family that can provide exercise, training, and plenty of attention.
All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months). All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
