Like the knight in the TV show “The Witcher,” Cahir is searching for something. Except the feline Cahir isn’t searching for a princess, but rather a forever home where he can curl up and enjoy a good meal.
ABOUT CAHIR - In foster - Cahir and his travelling companion, Triss, were rescued from an overcrowded municipal shelter. - Cahir loves food, so much so that he will finish his portion and move on to Triss’ bowl. (His attachment to snacks might just be the key to winning his favour!) - Cahir is very vocal at mealtimes, clearly communicating his disapproval. It’s hard not to love a strong communicator! - Kittens, like Cahir, have lots of energy! He loves to show off his athletic moves when playing with wand toys by jumping around in the air. - Though initially skittish and defensive, Cahir has made great progress with his foster family! - Now, he will lean into pets by hand and gently tap his foster’s hand if he deems the interaction not over. When he’s had enough, he will push her hand away to show that he feels overstimulated. - Cahir loves to show off his well-oiled engine by purring loudly when he’s being pet. - Cahir appreciates his independence and prefers to spend his time in his cubby. - Cahir has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
CAHIR’S IDEAL HOME - Cahir can go to a home by himself or with another feline-friendly cat. Since he is very food-motivated and will steal others` portions, it’s important to monitor him during mealtimes or perhaps invest in a microchip feeder. - Kittens require ample and mindful stimulation, through play, from their humans.
Cahir may be a tad feisty at first, but he’s looking for a patient and loving adopter to help him harness his bravery and realize that humans aren’t as bad as he may think. Are you ready to aid Cahir on his journey to trust again? Apply today!
