Like the knight in the TV show “The Witcher,” Cahir is searching for something. Except the feline Cahir isn’t searching for a princess, but rather a forever home where he can curl up and enjoy a good meal.
ABOUT CAHIR - In foster - Cahir and his travelling companion, Triss, were rescued from an overcrowded municipal shelter. - Cahir loves food, so much so that he will finish his portion and move on to Triss’ bowl. (His attachment to snacks might just be the key to winning his favour!) - Kittens, like Cahir, have lots of energy! Though he’s not ready to play in front of his foster family yet, he enjoys playing at night, and sometimes with Triss. - Cahir is a skittish cat who has had minimal experience with humans. - With the help of a dedicated and patient foster family, Cahir is on a journey to adapt to a new environment and become more comfortable around people. - Some skittish cats may remain reserved, while some may express their trust and affection in a variety of ways. - Cahir appreciates his independence and prefers to spend his time in his cubby. - Cahir has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
CAHIR’S IDEAL HOME - Cahir is looking for a home with another feline-friendly cat in residence. - A skittish cat will benefit from a calm, quiet environment, preferably without small children. - Kittens require ample and mindful stimulation, through play, from their humans. - Potential adopters should be prepared to dedicate the time, effort, and patience required to help Cahir settle into his new environment. EHS will provide post-adoption support to assist Cahir with a successful transition to his forever home.
Cahir may be a tad feisty at first, but he’s looking for a patient and loving adopter to help him harness his bravery and realize that humans aren’t as bad as he may think. Are you ready to aid Cahir on his journey to trust again? Apply today!
