Say hello to Gobber, a gentle soul with a heart of gold-perfectly named after the steadfast blacksmith from How to Train Your Dragon. Just like his namesake, Gobber may seem a bit reserved at first, but beneath that cautious exterior lies a warm, loyal companion who's ready to share a lifetime of love.

Gobber takes a little extra time to get comfortable in new environments, but once he trusts you, he blossoms into the sweetest companion. He'll show his affection with slow blinks, soft purrs, and his signature move-rolling onto his side for gentle pets and reassurance. Watching his confidence grow is a heartwarming experience, and he'll reward your patience tenfold. When he is happy, Gobber is a drooly boy!

Because of his shy nature, Gobber will do best in a quiet home where he can properly decompress and adjust at his own pace. Gobber would do best as an indoor-only cat, where he can enjoy a safe, cozy environment. He'd also love to have a feline friend by his side-another cat to play with, snuggle, and share his new life's adventures.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year.
