Animal Profile: Solly is a 2-year-old, 9-pound Chihuahua with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. This little guy may be small, but he’s full of quiet charm and sweetness.
When Solly first arrived at the shelter, he was a little shy and unsure of his surroundings. But with kindness and patience, his warm personality began to shine through. Once he feels safe, he loves soft pets, cozy blankets, and the comfort of being close to his people.
After finding himself at risk in an overcrowded shelter, Solly is now safe and ready for his new beginning in the PNW. He’s looking for a calm, loving home to call his own.
Foster Update: Solly is an absolute sweetheart! This friendly boy lives for pets and cuddles. Pop him in your lap and give him some soft pets and he’ll lean against you and fall asleep within minutes. Peek inside his crate and he’ll roll right on his back and wag his tail like crazy, eager for belly rubs.
He's a gentle soul who wouldn’t hurt a fly. He absolutely loves all people and hasn’t shown any signs of having issues with other dogs. He’s eager to befriend our resident dog but sadly she’s not interested.
Solly is potty trained and hasn’t had any issues with marking inside, and he’s learning to love the crate. When we put him in the crate, he’ll let out a few cries but then settles down nicely. He sleeps through the night in his crate with no problems.
My guess is that as he continues to come out of his shell, he’ll be quite playful and will love walks!”
