This handsome 2-year-old mixed breed, weighing in at 50 lbs, is ready for his fresh start. Sully’s breed may be a bit of a mystery, but one thing’s for sure — he’s 100% sweetheart!
When Sam first came to us, he was dealing with a terrible flea infestation. He’s now all cleaned up and feeling so much better, though he’s developed a flea allergy — so keeping him protected will be extra important to keep him comfortable. ??
Sam is a lovely, gentle boy who enjoys the company of other dogs. Cats are unknown, as we don’t have any background on him.
He’s looking for a warm, loving home where he can finally feel safe, cared for, and cherished — something every dog deserves.

Coastal K9 Rescue Society is a non-profit, volunteer dog rescue society serving Nova Scotia and beyond. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs left homeless for whatever reason – dogs given up by their owners because of difficult circumstances and/or those in danger of abuse or neglect.
Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and are placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement.
We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives.
Coastal K9 Rescue Society remains interested in and committed to the welfare of the dog beyond the adoption process.
Finally, we strive to work with other rescues to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless pets.
