Meet the Pet
This helps Piedmont Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
From her foster "Hope earned her name long before she ever knew safety or comfort. This beautiful girl was found in an outdoor cat colony with a severe leg injury. When she was brought in for a TNR appointment, the vets quickly realized her injured leg couldn’t be saved, so they gave her a second chance at life instead.
She is a quiet, gentle soul who melts the moment she realizes she’s safe. She may be shy at first, but once she trusts you, she leans into every pet and closes her eyes with the sweetest content. She LOVES soft scritches and slow, calm attention.
She’s not a talker, just a peaceful, affectionate companion who wants to be loved. She does well around other friendly cats and would be fine as a companion to another calm kitty or as the only princess of the home. She hasn’t been around dogs yet, but with slow introductions and a gentle dog, she may adjust just fine.
Hope has survived more than most cats ever will, yet she’s still soft, trusting, and full of love to give. She’s ready to leave her past behind and start her new life, one filled with kind hands, and a safe home forever."
