Hi there… I’m Iris. I’m 1.5 years old, I have these big bright blue eyes everyone keeps talking about, and I’m really hoping they help me find the human I’ve been dreaming about. I’ll be honest — I’m a little shy with new people. Meeting someone for the first time makes my heart do nervous tap-dancing. But if you give me a little time, I promise I’ll show you my softer, sillier side. Once I trust you, I love being close… like “you’re my comfort human now” close. Now, if you have another dog? Oh boy. Dogs are my jam. They make me brave, happy, and zoomie-powered. I’d love a dog friend who can show me the ropes and maybe join me in some daily “run like the wind” sessions. Here’s what I think you might like about me: 🐾 I sleep in my kennel all night like a champion 🐾 I’m great on a leash, so walks with me are easy 🐾 I’m almost totally housebroken — really trying my best! 🐾 I’m a quiet girl who isn’t into barking drama 🐾 I love zoomies and running with my foster siblings — it’s my favorite I’m looking for a patient, gentle human who will let me warm up at my own pace… and maybe admire my blue eyes once in a while. In return, I’ll be your loyal companion, your soft shadow, and your goofy playmate once I feel safe. If you think we could be a good match, I’d really love to meet you. The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”
