Meet Monica, the resident diva of FDHS and proud bestie of Rachel (also available).
Monica was recently surrendered and has been settling in here at the fast-paced shelter. While she's still new, her previous owner did fill us in on a few things. When Monica chooses you as her person, consider yourself blessed. Her loyalty runs deep, but she prefers to take her time warming up to new faces. Monica is particular about her dog friends and tends to vibe best with more submissive pups. She is not a good match for homes with cats or small children. This girl has impeccable manners, is used to regular grooming, rides beautifully in the car, and keeps her kennel spotless. She does pretty well on leash too.
Of course, even the best of girls have flaws. Monica is an escape artist with a passion for solo adventures. She can scale fences, dig under them, and will power through electric fencing without hesitation. She requires very close supervision outdoors to keep her safe and sound.
Aside from her adventurous streak, Monica is a total lady. Elegant, devoted, and full of love. She will be a fantastic and loyal companion.
