Shelli is a 6 month old young pup who recently came in as a stray form Harrison County Animal Control as a stray with her two siblings. Her sister Sherese, and brother Samuel. She is learning the world around her and is gaining confidence everyday. She is learning how to sit, and working on her leash training. As a puppy she has lots of energy to give to a new home. She is great with other dogs, and would love another furry friend to play with. She is a big fan of bacon strips! She is heartworm negative, and will be spayed upon adoption. She is estimated to be under 40lbs fully grown. If you are looking for a young addition to your home come meet her or her siblings today!

HSSM is open for adoptions Tuesday – Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. No appointment is necessary to adopt, however, adoptions are first-come, first served. You must come to HSSM to complete your adoption and make sure you bring a photo ID, as it is required to complete adoption paperwork.
Our adoptable animals page is self-updating and displays ALL of HSSM’s adorable adoptable pets from “pocket pets” to birds and of course the hundreds of dogs and cats currently calling HSSM home! See one you like? Make sure you note your favorite’s name and animal ID number so that HSSM staff and volunteers can easily find him/her when you come in!
Adoptions are cut off every day about 30 minutes prior to closing and possibly earlier if volume is high. Weekends are busy and you may have to wait more than an hour (especially in the afternoons) so please be prepared.
