My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

If your interested in adopting me please fill out an adoption application!

Are you looking for a quiet, discerning roommate who will only demand affection on her terms? Do you enjoy the thrill of a challenge, where the reward is being selected as the recipient of the most adorable, yet surprisingly forceful, head-pump in the Ottawa area? Then please allow me to introduce you to Millie!

Millie is not like those clingy, attention-seeking youngsters. Oh no. She's a lady of mystery. She might pretend she doesn't see you for the first week, possibly two. You'll catch glimpses of her, flitting like a gorgeous, fluffy shadow in your periphery. This is not a slight; this is The Millie Test. Pass the test (by offering food and respecting her personal space), and you unlock the inner circle.

Millie's Special Talents & Features:

The Head-Pump (Level: Expert): Once she's decided you're worthy, prepare for impact. Millie doesn't gently nudge; she commits. It’s her primary love language, and it’s surprisingly effective at transferring residual cat glitter onto your clothes.

The Nose: Seriously, you need to see this nose. You’ve heard of toe-beans, Millie has the cutest “Pinto-bean” nose. It's so adorable, it could probably get out of a speeding ticket. No, we will not let her drive.

Master of Disguise: Her initial shyness is simply her highly effective strategy for vetting potential staff (i.e., you). She's just waiting to make sure you have the proper cat-servant demeanor and an acceptable snack cupboard.

Millie is seeking a quiet, patient home where she can take her time settling in. If you are willing to give her the space she needs to blossom, you will be rewarded with a fiercely loving cat who shows her affection in the sweetest ways.

***ADOPTION INFORMATION: The adoption fee of $295 per feline includes a veterinary exam, parasites treatment, spay/neuter, vaccination and microchip. The adopter will be responsible for the first, second and third sets of vaccinations if they haven't already been administered.
