My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Austria

She is Avery’s gray-and-white tuxedo sister, dressed to impress and ready to charm her way into your heart.

Austria has that classic tuxedo look soft gray and bright white markings that make her look like she’s always prepared for a fancy event… even if that event is zooming down the hallway after a toy. She’s a beautiful, elegant little girl with a sweet face and a warm, friendly presence.

Just like her sister, Austria is affectionate and playful, but she brings her own special flavor to the mix. She loves being near her people, soaking up attention, and will happily join you for pets, cuddles, and quality time. Austria is the kind of cat who wants to be part of whatever you’re doing once she gets to know you whether that’s relaxing on the couch or walking from room to room on a “house inspection.”

Austria is also a big fan of other cats. She and Avery are close, and Austria thrives with feline companionship. She should be adopted with a buddy (ideally Avery!) or into a home with other friendly cats who will keep her company and share her playtime. She’s social, gentle, and happiest when she has both human and cat friends around.

Playtime is one of Austria’s favorite things. She hasn’t committed to a single favorite toy either she loves all toys and stays curious about anything new. Wand toys, crinkle balls, plushies if it moves, rolls, or dangles, Austria is interested. Her curiosity is adorable and makes every day with her feel lively and fun.

Austria is a sweet, lovable companion with a playful spark and a soft, affectionate heart. If you’re looking for a friendly, social kitty with a charming tuxedo coat and a love for people and cats alike, Austria is ready to bring joy to your home.

Part of adopting a kitten is recognizing that they are babies, and you will get to see firsthand how their wonderful natures develop!

Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet.

This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adopt
