- Submit ApplicationReview application, set time for phone interview
- InterviewVet references and personal references verified, verify home ownership or rental and ability to adopt
- Home CheckVirtual or in person
- Approve ApplicationSend out approval with information on canine, need to electronically sign. Adoption agreement. Review all aspects of the adoption agreeement
- Pay FeeAdoption donation accepted, welcome letter emailed with educational information to welcome your new dog home. Transport arranged
- Take the Pet HomeAdopters receive all vetting documentation and a welcome home goodie bag for new fur friend

Northbound Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting primarily independent rescuers in rural North Western Mississippi. With many of these communities battling overpopulation, low local adoption rates and climbing medical bills, Northbound Rescue forms a partnership with these rescuers to assist them with medical care, fundraising, transport and rescue efforts in the Northeast.
