Bosun is a sweet, deeply affectionate dog who thrives on routine and loves being close to his person. He has a warm, steady energy and is happiest when he knows the flow of his day—morning potty, a walk, some lounging near you, and evening couch time. Once he understands the household rhythm, he settles beautifully and becomes the most loyal “by-your-side” companion you could ask for.
He’s currently enrolled in a board-and-train program with Koru K9 to continue improving his separation anxiety and build even more confidence with crate usage and structure. He’s already made great progress, and with consistent routines, he blossoms quickly. He’s a smart dog who responds incredibly well to positive reinforcement and clear expectations.
Bosun loves warmth (he’ll happily sunbathe for ages), hates the rain, and is impressively quiet—he almost never barks except when a UPS driver shows up, and even then it’s more of a “hey, someone’s here” than true vigilance. He’s also hilariously committe
