Lennon a friendly boy who came to our shelter from a local hoarding case- over 60 cats! He has never lived without other cats, so we think it's best for him to have a feline friend- either one already established in the home or one of his former housemates.
Lennon had some GI issues when he first arrived- serious constipation that wouldn't resolve without medical intervention. Fortunately, once Lennon was free of intestinal parasites and eating a proper diet, everything resolved. We are SO grateful because this means that Lennon can find his perfect forever home!
Lennon is almost a year old. He is neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, microchipped, feline leukemia/FIV negative, recently tested negative for internal parasites, and is current on flea/tick preventative. It is important for Lennon to maintain a stable diet-nothing fancy, just consistent.

Additional adoption info
All of the animals currently residing at Halfway Home Rescue, Inc. have been examined by a veterinarian, spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, and are up to date with vaccinations. Each has been treated for fleas, worms, and ear mites as needed. Most of the animals that come to us have suffered lives of abuse, neglect, and abandonment. Our goal is to place each animal in a home that most suits its needs. Please email us for an adoption application. This will need to be completed before any visit to our shelter. Once completed, we will set up an appointed time for you to meet each of our animals looking for homes.
If a match is made, you will fill out an adoption contract and receive all of the medical papers for your new pet. We request a $275 adoption donation per adult cat ($300 for kittens) and $600 per adult dog to help defray veterinary expenses.

More about this rescue
Halfway Home Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless animals and providing a safe haven for these animals until a permanent home can be found. While in our care, these animals are examined by a veterinarian and given proper medical attention (including spay/neuter).
Animals deemed “un-adoptable” become a part of our sanctuary and live out their natural lives under the care of volunteers and trusted veterinarians at Halfway Home Rescue Inc. We call these animals The HHR Lifers.
Halfway Home Rescue is comprised of a very small group of volunteers dedicated to making a difference. We operate 100% on private donations. Since our founding in 2004, more than 10,000 animals have passed through our doors.
