My name is Bodhi!

We love Bodhi very much, and this has been a difficult decision. He is a loyal, affectionate dog with his family and truly shines once he feels safe. However, he needs someone experienced who can continue working with him and help build his confidence. Bodhi is apprehensive with new people and new environments and may bark or act defensively when he’s unsure. Once he warms up, he becomes very loving, cuddly, and eager to bond. He would do best in a calm, adult-only home (or one with older teens) and without other dogs, as he becomes stressed and reactive around unfamiliar animals. Bodhi has a lot of potential with the right structure, patience, and consistency, but we are unable to give him the level of guidance he needs. In the right hands, we believe he can thrive. We hope to find someone who can help him gain confidence and give him the stable, understanding home he deserves.
