My name is Mia!

Mia the Portuguese Water Dog was happiest glued to her people. She loved everyone who loved her, and being alone in any enclosed or secured area was simply not an option—she’d panic, climb, or find a way out every time. With square fencing or kennel wire, she became a furry little escape artist, scaling upward like she’d trained her whole life for it.

But put her in an open space with her humans, and Mia shined. She adored fetch, even if her catching skills were hilariously awful. She’d leap too early, too late, or in the wrong direction entirely, always landing with a wagging tail and a proud smile.

Mia wasn’t meant for crates or kennels—she was meant for company, sunshine, and people who understood her big heart and even bigger personality. With the right home, she was pure joy: loving, loyal, and wonderfully uncontainable.
