Move over, big dogs — Olive has entered the chat, and she’s here to prove that size is deeply overrated. At around 1–2 years old and a perfectly pocket-sized 7 pounds, this terrier mix is ready to take her rightful place as your resident tiny adventurer, blanket burrower, and professional bringer of joy.
Found on the streets of San Antonio, Olive has mastered the art of being cautiously curious — she’ll check out new things, but she’s polite about it. Think: “Oh hi, I’m interested, but also… are you going to murder me?” Once she realizes you’re safe, she’s playful, friendly, and absolutely precious.
She’ll thrive in a calm home or a small family with older children — younger kiddos move a little too unpredictably for her delicate nerves. (Relatable, honestly.)
But let’s talk about her hobbies, because Olive is basically a tiny connoisseur of the good life:
✨ Crinkle toys: 10/10, very satisfying
✨ Soft blankets: the fluffier the better

Hay Dude Equine Rescue, in Boerne, TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs, are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
