Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue
Meet Elly Mae—a little enchantress wrapped in a coat of velvety black and snowy white. From the moment she gazes up with her soft, soulful eyes, it’s clear she’s a kitten whose spirit is woven from gentleness itself. Elly Mae is the type of sweetheart who melts into your arms without hesitation, stretching onto her back like a cherished baby and trusting you completely with her whole tiny heart.
Born with an old soul and a disarmingly sweet nature, she moves through the world with quiet grace and a soft curiosity. Her purr is a warm, steady hum—an affectionate soundtrack that begins the moment she feels your touch. She has a way of making even the simplest moments feel peaceful, as though she carries her own little pocket of calm wherever she goes.
Elly Mae currently shares her world with her beloved brother, Jethro, with whom she has grown up since they were both under two months old. Their bond is beautifully evident: they curl into each other like matching puzzle pieces, trade gentle grooming sessions, and drift to sleep in a nest of intertwined paws and whiskers. While Elly Mae could adapt to life on her own, there is something undeniably special about watching these two siblings weave their quiet magic together.

Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
