My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Faith, a sweet and resilient 5-year-old Potcake with a heart as big as her story. Weighing 40 lbs, she’s a wonderful medium-sized companion—steady, gentle, and full of quiet warmth. Faith was originally found in 2018 by Negril Pup Rescue covered in burns and wounds, abandoned on the streets. Due to the devastating hurricane causing extreme flooding in Jamaica, we stepped in to help out a fellow shelter in need. Alongside her friends Fluffy and Diamond, Faith made the journey to safety and is now hoping for a second chance at the loving home she deserves here on Long Island.

Faith’s calm, soulful presence makes her instantly endearing. She’s past the energetic puppy stage, making her an easygoing and comforting companion who simply wants to feel safe and loved. With her soft eyes, gentle nature, and patient spirit, she’s the kind of dog who quickly becomes the heart of any home.

Whether she’s enjoying a peaceful walk, resting by your side, or quietly taking in the world around her, Faith brings a soothing, steady joy to every day.

If you’re searching for a loyal, loving, and deeply appreciative companion, Faith is ready to begin her new chapter—and she’s hoping it’s with you.
