Meet Ike, a young brown tabby with a beautiful coat and bright, curious eyes. He came to us as a stray and previously lived around horses, which helped him develop a confident yet gentle personality. He is friendly, affectionate, and full of energy, ready to bring joy to a family that can give him the love and attention he deserves.
Ike is a delightful blend of playful mischief and tender affection. He loves to chase toys with unbridled joy, pounce on shadows, and leap into spirited antics, only to pause and curl up for pets, nuzzles, and soft purrs. With children, he is patient and gentle, a sweet companion who will quietly soak in their love while offering his own in return. Ike thrives on connection and would be overjoyed to have a feline friend to play with, though he also forms deep bonds with the humans lucky enough to earn his trust.
He shares a special connection with his sister, Dijon, and while it would be heartwarming for them to find a forever home together, Ike is also ready to shine as the cherished centerpiece of a loving household. More than anything, he longs for a place to call his own—a warm, safe space where he can finally relax and share all the love he carries in his heart.

Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family! Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
