Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rowe — The Thoughtful Companion Who Wants to Be Your Shadow
Looking for a dog who will give you his full attention and quietly fit into your life? Meet Rowe — a gentle, observant boy who proved during his holiday foster stay that he’s far more “easy companion” than “chaos puppy.”
Rowe is treat-motivated, already knows sit, and does his best with stay, which makes training feel more like teamwork than work. On leash, he’s generally calm and polite, though he may pull a bit when he’s excited to meet new people — something continued leash work will easily improve.
During his foster stay, Rowe truly shined at home. He was well-behaved when left alone, did not chew or get into things, and showed excellent house manners. He enjoys long walks, but he’s equally happy napping on a dog bed or curling up next to his person — including sleeping in bed at night, where he happily tucked himself in near his human’s legs.
Rowe foster report: Rowe is a calm, patient, and very observant dog. On walks, he’ll sometimes pause just to take it all in, then continue along with his human. He enjoys affection, responds beautifully to gentle praise, and has a steady, reassuring presence that makes him easy to love.
Other highlights from foster care:
*Rides nicely in the car and settles calmly in the back *Curious but polite ; showed no reactivity when another dog was aggressive at property line. Rowe does best when given space to move and observe rather than being rushed through tight spaces. When allowed room to breathe, he shows calm, neutral behavior around other dogs and focuses beautifully on his handler. He’s a thoughtful dog who thrives with clear communication and a relaxed environment. *Enjoys toys (especially balls he can chase) *Does not guard food or toys *Comfortable with visitors and welcomes meeting new people *Enjoys a relaxed routine with walks, naps, and companionship
Rowe is approximately 2 years old, weighs 52 lbs, and is neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and vaccinated. He’s ready to leave shelter life behind and settle into a home where he can be someone’s loyal walking partner, couch companion, and quiet best friend.
