HOW TO ADOPT: This animal is available for adoption by appointment. To schedule a time to meet this animal, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org.
---
- Was shy in her foster home at first, but opened up nicely after a few days and now doesn't mind when her foster family comes near her hutch and interacts with her
- Likes pets and will head butt your hand for attention
- Gets the zoomies when she wants to play and flops over when she's happy
- Loves eating her rabbit pellets and will also eat Timothy hay; enjoys apples as treats
- Foster family says she uses her litterbox with no issues
- Most active in the morning and at night; tends to nap during the day
- Not the biggest fan of being held
- Comfortable venturing out of her enclosure as long as she has something comfortable to walk on; won't walk on flooring where she can slip
- May be happiest in a quiet, mature home
- Arrived with an injury to one of her back legs that has made that knee larger and sometimes causes her kneecap to shift out of place, a condition called luxating patella; appears to get around well now and may or may not require additional veterinary care in the future (more info at ARL)
