DOB: Oct 19, 2017
Meet Winnie, a fluffy beauty with the softest “pants,” the furriest toes, and a little tongue that loves to peek out in the sweetest accidental bleps. She might be a Nebelung breed, characterized by her soft blue coat and gentle demeanour. Winnie is a shy, sensitive girl who prefers to approach you rather than be approached — but when she decides you’re safe, she becomes a gentle, loyal shadow who brings calm to any room. She’s a quiet companion who rarely chats, content to simply exist peacefully beside you. But don’t let her serene nature fool you: show her a catnip fish, a cat dancer, or a ribbon, and she’ll reveal her playful side with soft-focus enthusiasm.
History: We learned that her owner had passed away and she was surrendered, but no previous information was given, I'm sure she may still be adjusting to this loss, but I've seen the sadness of when she arrived turn into curiosity and joy over time and she's doing very well!
Winnie needs someone to control her food portions and adhere to a routine diet plan to help keep her weight under control. A free feeding/grazing home wouldn’t work well for her.
Special note from the foster family: Winnie is absolutely sweet and gentle, and with a stable environment will thrive and be able to enjoy her adult life brining peace and calm to her family. It's been a real joy having her in the house. She’s searching for a calm, patient home that appreciates her shy heart, her quirky traits, and the soft, steady love she gives on her own timeline.
Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated, vs. our standard adult cat adoption fee of $225.
