Meet Candycane, a cheerful little kitten whose personality is as sweet, lively, and refreshing as his festive name suggests. This lovable boy is a social, affectionate companion with a heart as big as his purr—he’ll happily snuggle, nuzzle, and fill your home with the soothing hum of his contentment.
Candycane thrived in his foster home, growing up alongside other cats and children, and he has even had positive exposure to dogs, showing his adaptable and friendly nature. Playful, curious, and endlessly charming, he brings joy to every room he enters, delighting everyone he meets with his spirited antics and gentle affection.

Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family! Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
