My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Guerrero is a domestic shorthair grey tabby female who is approximately 2 years old.

Meet Guerrero! Guerrero is a sweet, mellow soul with a gentle presence that instantly puts you at ease. A little shy at first, she prefers to take things at her own pace. With time and patience, her truly special personality begins to shine. She is an independent explorer who enjoys quietly observing her world, whether that means watching birds from the windowsill or keeping a peaceful eye on her people while they sleep.

As her trust grows, Guerrero’s affectionate and playful sides emerge. She loves her toys, especially catnip-filled ones she can bite and chew, along with crinkly toys that keep her entertained. She is an expert biscuit maker and can purr happily for long stretches. Recently, she has started showing her belly, rolling around for attention, and coming out to eat in front of her humans, occasionally even taking treats by hand.

Guerrero enjoys cozy naps on the windowsill, at your feet, or curled up in her bed under a side table. She is becoming more chatty and will respond when she hears another cat, showing curiosity and interest in making new connections.

Adopting Guerrero is about more than giving a cat a home. It is about supporting a gentle heart as it learns to trust and grow. In return, Guerrero offers quiet companionship, playful moments, and a calming love that will enrich your life every day.

Guerrero would likely do well with other cats and dogs with a proper slow introduction.

Guerrero is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. She is FIV and FeLV negative and on parasite preventions. Her adoption fee is $300. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
