Meet Tanjiro, the brave little buff and white warrior with a heart full of love and a spirit that just won’t quit! Raised in foster care since he was just 3 weeks old, Tanjiro had a rough start battling pneumonia—but this tiny fighter pulled through with strength, determination, and a whole lot of purrs. Now he’s a happy, healthy, and playful kitten who’s making the most of every moment.
Tanjiro is full of energy and joy—he loves to play, especially when it involves tackling his sister Nezuko in a surprise kitten ambush. But when the zoomies are over, he turns into the ultimate cuddlebug. He adores being held and will snuggle right into your arms, meowing sweetly and purring like a tiny motor.
With his gentle nature, playful heart, and the cutest little meow you’ve ever heard, Tanjiro is ready to bring love, laughter, and joy to his forever home.

The Pre-adoption process allows us to get the adoption process started early, even though vetting isn’t complete. Per the Department of Agriculture rules and regulations, The Kitten Rescue Project is responsible for vetting all of its kittens before adoption is final. At this time the kitten is not fully vetted because he/she is too young. We expect vetting will be completed around Dec 12th, but could be delayed a couple weeks longer if he/she does not meet the weight requirement by our vet.
Once vetted, our kittens are dewormed, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped.
Our feline adoption fee is $120, which assists in offsetting but does not entirely cover the expenses incurred for the animal's care and completion of essential veterinary care.
We do not place cats in homes based on the order of application received. Instead, we prioritize the earliest applications that are the best match for the kitten. We will prioritize applicants within a 2 hour drive of Atlanta, GA to help minimize the kitten's stress during transport.
Our adoption process does not happen in a single day. Typically, it can take at least a week for applications to move from submission to adoption.
