My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.

* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.

In the heart of the city, Madeline, a 3 year old superhero cat, bravely survived some mean kids who were shooting at her with BBs. A good Samaritan saw what was unfolding and called us to help. Our volunteers went out and rescued sweet Madeline. Once at our vets office, she underwent surgery to remove all the BBs. We also had a complete dental done on her at the same time and she has a brand-new smile.

She was a bit timid at first, but who could blame her? Now after having a little time to settle in at her foster home, her bravery shines through daily interactions, showing a loyalty that warms the hearts of everyone she meets. Madeline has a knack for soothing the worried minds of humans with her calming presence. She's the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal and loving friend.

Despite her heroic past, Madeline remains sweet, gentle, and loyal, waiting for her new person or family to offer her a loving home where her brave heart can continue to shine.

She has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150. Apply to adopt this beautiful girl today!

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
