Breeze is a 1-year-old, 31-pound terrier mix who’s overcome a tough start to life. Saved from the euthanasia list in the Texas valley, he made his way to Camo Rescue—and has been an absolute sweetheart from the moment he arrived. Though he was previously labeled a “behavior dog,” Breeze has proven to be nothing but a happy-go-lucky, affectionate boy with a heart of pure gold.
Breeze’s personality truly blossoms outdoors. He lives for outside time—especially when it comes to hunting down the smelliest scents he can find. His nose leads the way, and he digs right into the adventure!
Smart and food motivated, Breeze picks up on new things quickly and is an eager learner. He’s doing great with his potty training and improving every day with leash manners. Sometimes he gets a little excited, but he’s well on his way to becoming a wonderful walking companion.
Breeze also knows exactly where his kennel is and will head inside when it’s time to settle—though he may hold out for a treat or two to seal the deal! He’s dog friendly and loves the company of other pups, though is not a fan of Alpha or hyperactive dogs. His enthusiasm can be a bit extra at times, so continued guidance will help him be the best friend he can be.
Breeze is ready to bring joy, energy, and endless tail wags to a forever home that appreciates his sweet spirit and love for life. Could he be the breath of fresh air your family needs?
Adoption fee is: $400
ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.
Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.
Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

More about this rescue
CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
