My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bilbo, a friendly, smart, and cozy 10-year-old senior acquired from No Kill LA (NKLA). He is peaceful, friendly to all teens and adults, and loves attention.

Though he has no interest in catching a ball or playing with dog toys, he will bask in the sun while you work or tend to household duties. He is extremely well-mannered: he does not bite or scratch and will not tear up clothing or furniture.

He enjoys being near his people for some attention, but is equally happy taking quiet alone time (especially in his favorite crate at night). He is highly food-motivated, making further training easy.

Why Rehoming: We recently welcomed a newborn with additional needs. I simply don't have the time to dedicate to him and refuse to let him be neglected.

Ideal Home: We seek a quiet, comfortable home where someone can offer him a steady presence, comfort, and the occasional snuggle, respecting his need for peaceful downtime.
